Students of UniOsun Arrested by EFCC regains Freedom

Last week Thursday, twenty-one students were arrested from the UniOsun university hostels by the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. This led to a protest by concerned students who blocked the Osogbo/Ibokun road.

Before their release, the social media accounts of the students as well as their phones and other gadgets were inspected and found not to be involved in internet fraud.

According to the the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UniOsun, Prof. Janet Olaitain confirmed the release of the students.
