Algeria wins African Cup of Nations

Algeria won the African Nations Cup for the second time in their history after a 1-0 victory over Senegal in the final in Cairo International Stadium

Algeria, once crowned at home in 1990, once again beat Senegal 1-0 after defeating them in the group stage during the final tournament.

 Al Saad forward Bounedjah victoriously led the team to the title after scoring a goal in the second minute of the game at the Cairo Stadium.

Algeria lift their first CAN trophy in 29 yearsas Senegal still look for their first taste of African glory.
