Delta State Commissioner Rebukes Herdsmen from entering the state university

Prof Patrick Muoboghare, the Delta state Commissioner for Higher Education raised alarm over insecurity problems as Herdsmen allegedly invaded the state-owned campus.

As a result of this, Muogboghare said any cow seen on the campus will be used solely for the university advantage. The commissioner stated this when he saw these destroyed fence of the Anwai campus of Delta State University (DELSU) which was reportedly done by the Herdsmen.

It was stated that the Herdsmen invaded the campus early on Sunday morning used their cows to destroy the fence. The Herdsmen are also accused of destroying government properties in disguise of looking for grasses.

The commissioner commended the students for their peaceful disposition towards the invasion and destruction of government properties.
