Immigration uncovers baby factory, rescues pregnant woman

The Oyo State command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has discovered what it called a baby factory allegedly owned by one Mrs Stella at Block B, House 8, Adebayo Oke Street, in the Sharp Corner, Oluyole area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Two female victims, one of them a pregnant woman, were rescued, while three suspects described as Stella’s accomplices, were arrested.

Professor goes completely naked during radio interview to protest Brexit

Dr Victoria Bateman, an Economics Fellow from the University of Cambridge, appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme to talk about the advantages of the EU.
During her discussion with presenter John Humphrys, she took off her coat to reveal she was completely naked underneath.

62% Gets Credit In Maths, English As NECO Releases SSSCE Results

Acting Registrar of NECO, Abubakar Gana, in a statement in Abuja, on Friday, said a total of 59,963 candidates applied to seat for the examination and were examined in about 28 subject areas.
A further breakdown by NECO revealed that a total of 37,069 candidates representing 62.48 per cent who sat for the exams got five credits and above while 47,031 candidates, representing 79.27 per cent got five credits and above, irrespective of English and Mathematics.

INEC extends deadline for PVCs collection till Monday

Registered voters now have up to Monday to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday extended the collection period by three days, including today and tomorrow.
In addition, card collection can be made up to 6pm everyday as against the normal 4pm, according to  INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
