The royal family reveals the Queen’s most memorable moments from 2018

As the year comes to a close, the royal family has tweeted a short clip showing some of the most memorable moments from the monarch’s engagements over the past 12 months.

It features annual events such as Trooping the Colour and the Royal Maundy Service along with special family occasions, including a group photo from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in May and Princess Eugenie’s October nuptials.

The Queen’s surprise appearance on the front row at London Fashion Week is also highlighted, as well as a moment from her first joint engagement with Meghan Markle, which took place in Cheshire back in June. But the monarch isn’t the only royal who has had a busy year.

It’s worth watching until the very end, too. Amongst the final clips is a brilliant image of Prince George as page boy at Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Let’s hope for plenty more adorable moments from the youngest members of the family in 2019.
